The light rail construction process will involve several stages and work fronts. GoldLinQ will use a combination of communication methods - newspaper advertising, letter box drops and door knocking – including this website to ensure impacted residents, businesses and motorists can prepare, park and move within these key Gold Coast precincts during construction.

    Broadbeach

    - Night

    Broadbeach and Surfers Paradise - Traffic changes Gold Coast Highway.

    Night works will take place intermittently along the Gold Coast Highway between Australia Avenue, Broadbeach and Surfers Paradise Boulevard, Surfers Paradise from now until the middle of the year.

    Conducting works at night when the highway is less busy ensures two lanes of traffic in each direction can be maintained on the Gold Coast Highway during peak periods.
